Information Bulletin: Avalon Featured in Today's Globe & Mail Report on Business: Rare metals bring rare opportunities to mining
March 24, 2010
Today's Globe & Mail Report on Business contains an interesting article about Avalon and its Nechalacho rare earth elements project entitled "Rare metals bring rare opportunities to mining."
In addition to quoting Don Bubar, Avalon's President & CEO, the article also provided some comments about the rare earth business from John Hykawy, a research analyst with Byron Capital Markets.
Mr. Hykawy stated that, "It is those producers who have a combination of light and heavy earth elements who have the potential to reap big profits in the years to come. Most investors realize that the heavy rare earth elements command the higher price because they are rarer. Avalon has one of the highest levels of heavies located outside China."

The Globe & Mail also ran two other rare earth elements articles yesterday:
- The rush to mine rare earth elements
- A primer on rare earth elements
